1950-60s Comet Authenticast Catalog Vol. 6 Ships, Planes, Tanks & RR Accessories

Hard to find late 1950s-early 1960s Authenticast Catalog.  The catalog is 8 1/2" by 11" and fifteen pages.  Great scale models of ships, armored vehicles, soldiers and aircraft.  There is a small sheet showing new models, including the Yamato, the USS Forestal and several tanks.  Nice four page brochure for the Hi-Lo Railroad trestle set for 0, 0-27 and HO gauges, and four single page flyers for HO accessories and rolling stock; new missles in miniature; model railroad accessories and the HO coal loader (color image). All of this Comet Authenticast literature is in excellent condition. All of the brochures are undated, so I am not sure of the exact date of publication. All in all, there are five brochures plus the catalog in this lot. Please see the photos for more details.

Recently found were three letters from Superior Models in Delaware who took over authenticast in the 1960s They include a list of the authenticast they still had available.  There is also a letter of inquiry from a gentleman in Ohio.
