Handsome fold-out 1959 Conoco road map of Colorado, printed more than 57 years ago.
The map opens to 18" x 26½".
It has great detail on highway alignments, with cartography by H.M. Gousha.
There are inset plans of Pueblo, Trinidad, Denver, Mesa Verde and Rocky Mountain National Parks, and the Colorado Springs-Pikes Peak region.
The map was distributed by the Continental Oil Company in 1959 and is dated in the legend. The code number in the lower margin is 9-GG.
Little triangle symbols locate Conoco gas stations, and the front cover has a distinctive pinstripe design.
The date code on the back cover is 4591, and the artwork shows a Conoco branding iron with the slogan "Hottest Brand Going..."
