Here's the gem you've been waiting for! Reluctantly...we bid farewell to Sven, our long-time friend and family member. This 1994 Volvo 940 Turbo Wagon has been pampered its entire life. Always receiving meticulous and timely maintenance; primarily at the Barrier/Bellevue Volvo Dealership in Washington. This Volvo has lived its entire life in Washington state- and has absolutely zero corrosion/rust. It was also garaged, and the nice original paint shows! For an almost 30 year old vehicle- it is truly in Excellent shape. This Volvo runs, drives and shifts like new! The engine idles quietly, the turbo spools great- It is 100% ready to be a daily driver. Recently, we had some major work done to keep her going strong, including:-Timing Belt/Water Pump at 141k -Brakes/Rotors/Pads at 155k- AC Recharge at 155k- Hankook winter Tires at 150k (Set of original wheels/summer tires included!) This Volvo currently needs nothing to be a completely functional and reliable vehicle. If you know these motors, you know that 160k is just getting it broken in! All the amenities work too! Including a sunroof, AC, heat, power leather heated seats, cruise control, heated mirrors, Bluetooth radio, and more...The interior is in very nice shape, with a near perfect dash! The leather isn't cracked and gross, still somewhat plush and definitely still comfortable! The carpet is in excellent shape as well (I'm still looking for the original mats!) Now for the quirks of 30 year old Volvo- (I will be as transparent as possible!) When accelerating sometimes quickly, the AC air will stop blowing out of the top vents and only blow into the bottom ones. After a few seconds, it returns back to normal. I have no idea why it does this, but it hasn't bothered us enough to even get it looked at. There is also a very slight oil leak. Again, nothing we have sought to repair yet. The driver side mirror broke and fell off- I found a replacement for . (The power mirror part still works, it just needs the actual mirror piece) Exterior wise, she does have some battle wounds. On the front door primarily, from an accident with a deer. Theres a good couple dents and scratches. (This is the "accident" you will see on the carfax report) It has the ORIGINAL windshield- but its cracked. The heated seats aren't the strongest. Some of the interior plastics have come loose/broke and are in the glovebox. It's only a few small, random things.
