Amosandra (radio show character?) Columbia Broadcasting Systems inc. 10 inch vintage African American Black rubber baby character doll-(Sun Rubber Ruth E. Newton should be on upper back/currently hidden by outfit)has rounded tummy, curved limbs sweet nurser mouth, blushed cheeks and painted eyes. Her pinafore dress with attached undies is stitched up the back, ie. not removable unless you open the seam. She is quite heavy and is from around  the 1940’s. She had a brother. Please read “condition” very carefully as
she has so many issues
-too many to list in entirety but beware of her fragile condition….
CONDITION:
Lots of tears and cracks in baby!-arm almost completely detached at right elbow,
just consider it to be 100% detached at elbow as it will almost certainly  be completely detached with shipping, handling-any jostling
. -Some further cracks may be under her dress which I did not removed as it is stitched on. Dress is aged, yellowed looks original to the doll. Lots of wear, rough areas, discoloration, surface, cracks, lines imperfections. Also has a white-ish mottling on surface-esp. face and head. Back of head is pushed in-dented!
Overall she is in very poor, quite aged condition-
opening bid reflective of this!
She is a fixer upper doll-with the cracks being the very worst of her damage and age.
No unpleasant odors or smell of smoke, nonsmoking home.
