Description
Antique baby walker which was possibly produced by Taylor Tot in the 1950's and is made of metal and wood. This baby walker has a white wooden seat and handle, and has a metal backing on the seat, a metal tray, and metal frame and wheels. There is a white plastic coating over some of the metal frame. There are 6 wooden beads attached to the front part of the seat for the baby to play with and spin. This baby walker was probably originally a light blue color but was painted dark blue with the words Cindy Jo added to the back with a floral design. (I believe it was a light blue color because you can see remnants of it under the chipped blue paint). The wheels do turn and spin, so you can move this walker around. I do not know for sure, but it may be missing some pieces, like the long metal handle that mom would use to push/pull the baby around, and it may have had a removable tray underneath. I am just basing this off of other Taylor Tot walkers that I have seen which have had these parts. I have seen some walkers without these parts though. Obviously, this walker shows some wear with chippy paint and light rust, surface marks and scratches, and some breaks in the plastic coating that covers some of the metal bars. The white seat paint does easily chip off. I did not notice any dents other than surface marks which have been described. This walker would look great on display in your home with a doll sitting in it, or it can go on your patio or porch as a plant stand. It measures 25 inches long x 18 1/2 inches wide x 15 1/2 inches tall.
