Antique Child's "K" baby Kalamazoo Convertible wood stroller sled 1950.
Vintage Child's Convertible Champion Sled/Stroller by Kalamazoo Sled Company This sled is all original with both wheels and sled runners. Size is 28 inches long, 13inches wide, and 15 inches high (to top of seat), not including the metal handle. Handle extends 24 inches above the sides bars of the seat. Wheels can be retracted under sled or lowered in order to use the sled as a stroller . The mechanism that holds lowered wheels in place works fine. Paint and metal are all original, showing K Baby and red hearts. This sled can be pushed, or pulled if rope is put through the holes near the front. All parts seems to bein very good shape. The metal handle for pushing the sled is held in place by two bolts on each side. This handle will be removed for shipment . You can see these bolts if you look closely at the first photo. This would be great for a display with other vintage toys , dolls , or sporting goods.
