Very old and all original Victorian carriage made by the F.A.Whitney Carriage Co., of Leominster, MA (1858).
It is a classic and rare piece that reflects the countries best in carriage manufacturing having superior wicker construction and design. Very good original condition given its’ age and probable use with small passengers pushed over many miles.
Overall dimensions: Height to handle: 40”; width: 26”; length: 50”.
Wicker in very good condition; with only 3 small breaks in back
Wheels: small front; full hard rubber w age cracks
Wheels: large back; one (1) with full hard rubber w age cracks; second no rubber.
Seat: tapestry 75% in place with approximately 25% wear.
