    Description

    This is a Bakerite canister or cookie jar. I’ve had trouble figuring out what to call this piece! It measures about 8” across and 7” tall with the lid. The bottom says “Bakerite, oven-tested, made in USA, warranted, 22K. Gold”. This is a pretty piece, ivory in color with an orange tulip on each side. There is crazing which has darkened on the bottom inside & out (see pics). I did find one very small chip on the bottom as well.
