    Description

    This is a British Guiana 2 Cent on 8 Cents Rose Postage stamp, issued in 1878.  It is in exceptional shape as shown by the rich color.  It has one horizontal bar and one vertical bar across the "Official" on it.  It is used with a cork or fancy cancel and in Very Fine Condition.  This is S.G. 148 and is valued at L140 in the Stanley Gibbons catalog in this condition.
