    Description

    This is a German Fire Defense EM Aluminum Buckle - 33(3a).118 (Feuerwehr Koppelschloss). This buckle is in silvered die-stamped aluminum and is unmarked to the reverse. It is in excellent condition. These buckles were in use from 1900-1934. I purchased it in 2006 from Mr. Rob Weingart. This buckle is discussed in "Belt, Buckles, & Brocades of the TR - Revised Edition" by LTC J.R. Angolia (1st Edition), page 423.
