Gorgeous Wicker Baby Carriage/Stroller circa 1880.
The intricate wicker weaving is impressive. With gracefully woven spirals throughout and padded velvet seats this is a carriage one would be proud to stroll with a baby or display prominently.
This Wicker Baby Carriage is in decent shape for it's age.  There is one spot at the headrest of the carriage that has been bent and there is old packing material between the wicker pieces. See Picture #10. The velvet is in poor condition and the lap belt is missing. There is some rust on the Axl and the hardware to hold the umbrella is rusted. The lace that used to cover the umbrella has disintegrated.  Despite these issues it is incredibly well built and still structurally sound. It has a shock system, a braking system,  and the wheels still turn gracefully. Pictures are part of the description so please use the zoom tool eBay offers to look closely at the finish.
Local pick up is always available. If you prefer to have your item shipped, I am happy to help you find shipping quotes from a list of shippers I use. All items are blanket wrapped and delivered inside your home. Shipping is paid by you, the buyer, directly to the shipping agent you choose.  I do not collect shipping and shipping is NOT FREE.
