The Silver 1 cable is NOT copper or silver-plated copper.
IT IS
PURE SILVER.
Conductors are red because they are litz wire and therefore coated with enamel. This cable consists of a shield and three conductors. Conductors consist of pure Teflon insulation and ultra pure silver litz wire…the ultimate combination. The cable
jacket is soft and very flexible. The size is 20 gauge.
Beautifully made from pure silver wire in a true litz construction (many fine conductors separately enameled, soldered at the ends) with a Teflon dielectric (Teflon is the best insulator known).
Today, if you can find them, Red Rose Silver 1 interconnects (3 feet each) usually
sell for approximately 0-0 per pair. That is - per foot of this
amazing cable plus the connector’s cost. Anyone who wants to make custom sized
interconnects, either single-ended or balanced, or do amazing audio
