ORNATE GENDRON WICKER BABY STROLLER

For your consideration: This is a highly ornate natural wicker baby stroller/buggy. Generally advertised as " in the Haywood-Wakefield Style" There are no breaks or repairs to any of the wicker. Wicker has been treated and sealed to protect its natural beauty. All metal has been cleaned and lightly polished-no paint added- to keep with original condition and patina. This is a very large stroller. Overall length is 55 inches. Tallest wicker height ( just in front of handle) is 42 inches. Widest wicker width is 24 inches ( just in front of handle). Rear wheel base is 22 inches, and the wheel diameter is 20 inches. The seat sides, bottom and back are all original-they are covered in a corduroy material and the insides are tight packed straw-ORIGINAL ALL AROUND. There are 2 tears-1 on each side- and several lightly frayed edges. In other words...well used. This is a very clean and special dating from the late 1800's.
