Queen of Portugal
from 1387 until 1415 by marriage to
King John I
.
Philippa became
Queen consort
of
Portugal
through her marriage to King
John I
. This marriage was the final step in the
Anglo-Portuguese Alliance
against the Franco-
Castillian
axis. The couple were blessed by the church in the
Cathedral of Porto
on 2 February 1387 and their marriage was on 14 February 1387.
This is a fabulous note, highly desirable and collectible, with exceptional eye appeal on both Front and Back. Nice solid Very Fine 30 grade and I would suspect would grade even higher upon re-submission.  It looks much nicer than uncertified examples I see for sale on eBay represented to be of higher grade.  Contains rich and vibrant colors and in a desirable and collectible grade.
Uncommon and nice 1978 one-year type issue of this note.
