SG 24 British Guiana 1856. 4 cent, black/magenta. Very fine used by almost complete Berbice CDS, Aug 28th 1856 with good deep colour, cut diagonally, light reverse thin. Usual minor surface abrasions. The stamp is initialled EDW (ight) and is from the same 1856 printing of the worlds most expensive stamp. SG 23 1 cent black/magenta also initialled EDW (ight) on the same paper which sold in New York for nearly 6 million. A very fine example of this stamp (SG 24) sold in 2014 in Geneva (Feldman) for 156,000 Euros. BPA cert
