    Description

    This is a State of Westfalen Police EM Aluminum Buckle - 33(4a) (Staat Westfalen Polizei EM Aluminium Schnalle). This buckle is a silver-washed, two piece, aluminum construction, police NCO's, box belt buckle features a pebbled base field with a central, circular, embossed, motif of a rearing horse with his tail in the wind. The buckle catch, prong bar and prongs all intact. I purchased it in 2002 from Sue & Guy's Collectibles. This police buckle is in absolute mint condition. Don't believe it was ever worn. This buckle is discussed in "Belt, Buckles, & Brocades of the TR - Revised Edition" by LTC J.R. Angolia (1st Edition), pages 427-428.
