    a recent estate find...
    a  vintage 1960's F.A.O. SCHWARZ  "FORT MOHAWK" stockade. I'm not sure of it's exact vintage but I found it represented in this catalog from 1967 so I assume it is probably from then give or take a couple years. I'm offering it in " as found" condition. It has been played with , though probably not since the early 70's I would imagine. There are some scratches and some cracks and one of the front doors is off its hinges (please see photos) and the back walkway piece is missing both easily fixed. Included are the Britains Soldiers, Ltd. lead soldiers as they came in a bag with the fort. not original to the set I know but they've been together so long I didn't want to separate them.
