Amazing Vintage Mary & Doug Hancock Handmade Sterling Silver, Trade Beads and Bone Brave Chocker.
This vintage choker is very cool. It is designed after a Native American Brave Chocker.  The choker has a large sterling silver center hand hammered medallion which measures approximately 2.5" x 2.5". It has two vintage small sterling silver conchos, 5 antique glass trade beads called skunk beads, a sterling silver feather pendant which measures approximately 3" long x .75" wide and some bone beads. This necklace is all strung together with hand woven hemp which was very common for these artists to use.
The length of the choker is 15" but it looks like it can be easily adjusted smaller. The choker weighs approximately 87 grams. This would be a fantastic gift for somebody who enjoys mountain Man rendezvous or any kind of Wild West reenactment.
