    Description

    For your consideration William Hocker Set No. 23 - Duke of Connaught's Own Baluchis. This is the 15th numbered example of the this wonderful set that Mr. Hocker made, and it is signed by him and dated 12/87 (December 1987) on the underside of the lid, in Near Mint Condition with its Original Box and Tie Card, also in Excellent Condition.
    This is an extremely early version of this set with the deep box with two tie cards with 8 figures each, one with spacer sides to hold it above the figures on the lower tie, and protecting them from touching. Later, a larger box was used with all 16 figures on one big tie card.
    The set includes 16 figures, 14 Troopers in various positions, lying, kneeling and prone, firing with Native Officer with sword, on foot and Anglo Officer mounted at the halt with binoculars. A terrific display set by master toy maker, William Hocker.
