You are bidding on a SUPERB and VERY RARE 100% ORIGINAL set of used WW2 German
Panzerjäger
"Elite" Hauptsturmfuhrer Shoulder Boards!  Featuring the usual white piping (as opposed to the pink), these were SPECIFIC to members of the
Panzerjäger
units.
Originally shoulder straps for Elite personnel were introduced on May 1933.  Army style shoulder boards for Officer’s were introduced in early 1938, with Waffenfarbe colors being adopted in 1939.
Post April 1939 pattern (dull silver braiding, as opposed to bright Russian braiding), these white piped shoulder straps are in EXCELLENT used condition!  They are of the sewn-on type, and feature a sewn-on "P" Cypher on each, indicating "Panzerjäger"; as well as two silver pips indicating the rank of Hauptsturmfuhrer.  As they are in used condition, there is some wear, marks and stains throughout, as you can see in the photos.  No holes or mothing!  A VERY interesting and RARE variant, it would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display!
