    WW2 LVA German Luftwaffe leather flight coat jacket long Verkaufsabteilung appr. US size 40 to 42
    You are admiring a very rare stunning leather flying coat of the Luftwaffe. Due to the ammount of leather
    and the restrictions in WW2 Germany a less number of these flying coats for the Luftwaffe were produced.
    Pls do not get irritated with the leather great coat of the Wehrmacht. This flying coat is different!
    It has a very distinguish card pocket. These Luftwaffe Card pocket is nessesary for flying documents.
    The ball chain puller and the manifacturer OLYMPIA - date this zipper back to the end of the 30ties.
    These leather flying coat has also an inner lower leg pocket which has an ZIPP Zipper marked with the D.R.P number.
    which date back to the early 30s.
    The Wind closure mechanism is also interesting for the collar: it has a 2-step closure and the snap button is marked with STOCKO.
    The inner lining as well as the belt and the sword hanger is present.
    The leather is strong (has been tanned well) and durable. This leather Luftwaffe flying coat can be worn daily!
    The inner lining can be removed by snap buttons.
    The rectangular (grey-gold) label of LVA  - Luftwaffe Verkaufsabteilung is gone through the wartime years.
    These flying coats of the Luftwaffe are hard to come by and are extremly rare. Werner Mölders - a knight cross bearer
    and a flight ace of the Luftwaffe was also wearing this coat.
